5 DAYS ABERDARE/LAKE NAKURU/MASAI MARA LODGE SAFARI
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare National Park
Our representative picks you up from your Nairobi based hotel/from the airport for a departure to Aberdare National Park arriving at Aberdare Country Club base lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon transfer in lodge vehicle to The Ark Forest Lodge for dinner and overnight stay. The Ark Tree Lodge overlooks one of the largest salt-licks and waterholes in the Aberdare Mountains where you can see a variety of forest game unlike anywhere else in Africa. The lodge is built in the shape of an Ark. The waterhole is floodlit so you can view wildlife at night.
Day 2: Aberdare – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at your lodge in good time for lunch. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park famous for the colonies of flamingos that live on the shores of the park’s Lake. Over 400 species of birds are found here. The bird species include African Fish Eagle, Slender-billed greenbul, Long-tailed widowbird, Rufous-throated wryneck, Montane white-eye,Red-capped lark, Northern puffback, Rüppell’s robin-chat and Shining sunbird. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge (Full-board)
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
After breakfast depart to Masai Mara National Game Reserve, via Narok town, arriving at your lodge in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in the reserve in search of the big five. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is a vast national park located in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya. It offers visitors numerous attractions and has a reputation as one of the best wildlife destinations in the world. A visit to the Mara is the ultimate adventure due to its bountiful wildlife selection, stunning sights and endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. Covering about 1,510 sq km, the reserve is host to the spectacular Masai Mara Wildebeest Migration. The spectacle involves about two million wildebeest crossing the Mara River for greener pastures, and is widely considered to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay (Full-board)
Day 4: Masai Mara
Full day in Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. All meals and overnight stay at your lodge (Full-board)
Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast depart to Nairobi arriving in good time for a drop off at the airport for your onward departure flight (Breakfast)
